"This is my first sculpture exhibition. As a result of the influence of the vanguard movements, sculpture has ceased to be the exclusive representation of the human figure in bronze, marble or other materials. In my case, my experiences in sculpture are the result of a long evolution that began almost 60 years ago. It stemmed from my inclination to apply painting on non-traditional supports or, what is the same, to highlight the support’s objectuality with the purpose of inviting the observer to view the piece as a whole."
